There are songs that make you feel such intense emotion that you’ll never forget that first moment it blessed your ears. Q‘s “Take Me Where Your Heart Is” is one of those records and the visuals are just as stunning as this auditory attack. In these frames directed by Grant Spanier, we see Q at the bowling alley looking for love among the pins.
The instrumentation and overall feel of this cut is very Gambino-esque and perhaps some inspiration was spurred from that. Regardless, Q has a wondrous falsetto and the way he glides atop this minimal percussion is quite impressive. Looks like Columbia has another strong piece to add to the roster.
