Ducey Gold is fresh out of North Carolina, but he approaches his sound on a more melodic path. Linking up with the good bros over at Soul Serum, we see Gold living in a palatial palace while dealing with the heartaches of a relationship. Though, it does seem that Ducey has moved on to better things and whether he’s on earth or the moon, it’s always the same old bullshit.
These shots handled by John Buchanan give off a sense of elegance with it’s high production value. It’s great to see young creatives using what they have to the highest possible level. Past the visual aspect “Moonlight” has the potential to go the distance. The sound is smooth, the mix is crisp and Gold knows how to hold our ear.
