Truly Devin is one of the best producers without the recognition he deserves. Though, his work as an artist is expanding with every release he gifts to the people. Amidst a cloudy and overly packed modern music scene, it’s refreshing to see an artists pave their own lane. “Hands” is a personal favorite because of his blending of genres atop the always pristine percussion.
Burgess could really make whatever type of instrumentation he chooses to, but this isn’t like the shit you find on beatstars. I liken Devin to essentially an apprentice to Knxwledge, but just progressing at his own pace.
