For the last couple of months, Rocko Ballin has had New York on fire with tracks like “You For Me”, “Phased” and “Commend”. Like all of the stars do, Rocko has clearly done his homework on rap history flipping Freeway’s iconic record “What We Do” featuring JAY-Z and Beanie Sigel into a smooth, summery banger.
Rocko‘s silky flows backed by Alau and Eli WTF‘s nostalgic yet hard-hitting production have an undeniable New York-ness to them. The Brooklyn native’s confidence is unshakable and even in a sea of melodic rap, Rocko‘s delivery stands out from the pack. Check it out.
