The Sosshouse soldier Chavo aims to leave his imprint on the industry with the release of his sophomore album, Chavo’s World 2. Following the hype of smash hit Michigan, Chavo has attained the eyes and ears of various rap fans around the culture. In Chavo’s World 2 we received a modern trap banger FULLY produced by iconic in-house producer, Pierre Bourne. It’s standout tracks “American Deli” and “Packs” where we see Chavo‘s infamous Flex Trap style on full display. An array of flashy, heavy lyrics integrated with Pierre‘s modern trap style production.
My favorite feature on the album arrives on the “Michigan Remix”, where the new age rapper was able to round up a feature from one of Detroit’s hottest stars, BabyFace Ray. My take of BabyFace‘s contribution to the remix is fairly similar to putting gasoline on a fire. None the less it’s safe to safe Pierre Bourne‘s predecessor and breakthrough star Chavo has dropped a quality body of work in Chavo’s World 2, an underrated gem that will find its way to die-hard trap fans around the globe.
