G.T.‘s new project Money Counter Music, Vol. 1 proves why he’s your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper. The Detroit rapper is armed with a cosign from Future as well as collaborations and support from Michigan standouts, Babyface Ray, Icewearr Vezzo, and Sada Baby, among many others.
Despite being only seven songs, G.T. has a vibe for everyone. The opening track “OG” details losing close friends and family members and how that motivated him to make something of himself.
“Nobody showed me, nobody warned me, nobody told me, n****s just tried to hold me, and Lil bro me, now I’m the OG,” G.T. raps. My personal favorites off of the project are “Wavy Gang” with Peezy and “Lock Down The Hood”. Despite having different vibes and vastly different instrumentals, both are high-octane head nodders that are perfect to drive to.
