C4Y, Bloody2shoez, are both rising rappers from Chicago and they linked up with another rising star Akachi, to produce their collaboration project, B4. Akachi has been on quite the run lately, landing placements with Lil Uzi Vert, Chief Keef, EST Gee, and countless other stars. You’d think he would be seeking out more placements from big names given his recent popularity amongst some of the hottest rappers in the game. But it appears that he’s taking chances on smaller acts, just as someone most likely took a chance on him.
Some of the most stellar cuts on the project include “HOLON IM CAPPIN”, “ICLOUD”, and “MOST DESPISED”. “BAD VICES” had some assistance from the legend, Yung Icey on the production as well, just adding another trophy to the collection. Each of these showcases the duos potential and true diversity in the music they curate. The rap world needs more Chicago artists and the world of music needs more people like Akachi, someone willing to put talented, underrated artists on the map.
