Redveil is a leader of this new school of introspective music. Though it’s bigger than just deep thoughts and mind-bending metaphors. This young man makes music about life while he curates emotions with his heart and pen that will stay with you until the end of your days. To garner the attention of not only the industry, but a new fanbase alike is not an easy feat. But Veil and his team have bent the rules to showcase a wondrous ascent that continues with each release.
In just twelve cuts we are taken above and beyond to a world of sheer technicolor brilliance. “Together” starts things off in such a wild way because of the sample brimming through our speakers. “PG Baby” is another favorite crafting an ode to the county that raised this young genius. “Sky” also drew me in because of the carefree chorus and the off-kilter percussive elements. “Home” spoke to me because of the melding of the instrumentation and the vocal aggression.
With features from Ovrcast, Fly Anakin, Mekdelawit, and Renaissance Mic, it looks like these guest appearances were calculated to make for the best cohesive sound. But the whole project or any of the collaborations don’t seem forced, it’s just great music being cooked up. Redveil is not next, he’s now and he’s going to be around for a very long time.
