TiaCorine is in a class of her own. There are no limits nor ceilings to her music and this young woman offers us a glimpse into her world in the form of fifteen astounding waves. With features from Tony Shhnow, Uno and Kenny Beats, we hear all these creatives bounce their best work off each other in pristine form.
“Beamie” has a beautiful feeling melding the soft, lush percussion with Tia‘s melodic approach. Of course “Chaka Khan” is a smash waiting to happen, quenching her fan’s thirst after teasing the cut eons ago. “Dipset” is so fucking good, it’s hard to not run that back a few times. Some other standouts to my ear are “Paris Hilton”, “Gas Station” and “Find Yours”, but the cohesive efforts of this project are really second to none. You can tell the beat selection is right where it needs to be for her skill set, but Tia is also willing to try new things and adapt to different percussive sets.
I Can’t Wait should only solidify why TiaCorine is one of the best new rising artists out, until the next batch of gas, get hip to all of her greatness below.
