If you are familiar with the Houston rap scene, you know the Third Coast, along with the majority of the south as essentially being the heartbeat of rap music over the past thirty-five years or so. From Geto Boys, DJ Screw, UGK, and Travis Scott, the city of syrup is full to the brim with talent that deserves to be discovered. This is where Frostie comes in. I was lucky enough to meet this man and see his talent from nearly the beginning. This new song “POPEYES” along with a visualizer might be one of the catchiest I’ve heard in a while. The pounding bass with the addictive chorus is what kept me coming back. Check this new song out below.
