A good friend of mine introduced me to an artist by the name of Trevmas and let me tell you, his catalog is straight gas. The 22-year-old from New Jersey has been making some noise with standout songs such as “Gut Check” and “I Like How Money Sounds”. Trevmas has a unique sound when it comes to his music, being in the digicore scene but adding his own twist as well, having a beyond-impressive vocal mix and insane beat selection.
Trevmas just dropped off a single titled “Sodium” and I am just appalled at how underrated he is. The song, produced by elxnce, has a video game-like melody complimented by hard-hitting drums that are just remarkable. The energy that Trevmas brings to the table is unmatched, with quick flows and captivating wordplay.
Trevmas is honestly one of my favorite artists right now and it doesn’t seem like he’s slowing down anytime soon as he seems to have a game plan set for the future. If you haven’t heard of him, I definitely recommend this song to be your first listen.
