Monotonous

Some days are good, some days are bad, but a lot of these days just run together. I feel as if I’m hearing the same requests from different people and I know that’s an aspect of the job. Though it’s hard to snap out of the monotonous routine. I dosed off and thought of times I used to comb through Soundcloud for new music and now I just stumble upon it when I can. Nowadays I still discover music on my own through other means, but at least there was a period where there was pure hunger. Hunger for a job, hunger to have a piece of the pie. And then I realized that pie that I chased after, lusted for so many years wasn’t appetizing. Now I’m trying to get the feeling back and find a new pie.

3vd – My Bad

3vd is back on our pages with his video for “My Bad”. This video game-inspired short film showcases a stellar blend of 3vd‘s electric musical prowess and vivid colors throughout. Seeing the arcade interacting with his reality, we are met with some astonishing edits and a mood craving another dose. 3vd took the time to find a director like Aesthtx and be on the same page from a creative standpoint. This paired well with Savbeats wondrous production and made for a real moment for this kid from Cleveland. Don’t sleep, he’s onto something serious.

4VR Featuring 7minutes2la – FRNDS

Philly’s own 4vr are back on our pages with their new release titled “FRNDS”. With some help from 7minutes2la, we are greeted with a lush, airy sound that electrifies the night sky. The vocals ride the beat instead of distracting us from it, which is a huge problem in modern music. The cohesiveness allows every aspect to shine in its own right and makes for a real treat from start to finish. If this is your first time hearing from this group, I would take the time to circle back because 4vr is forever.

Randana – Discoman

Randana makes his first appearance on our pages with his cut “Discoman”. The video is light-hearted but gives additional support to the viewer’s first time tapping in. Playing with some Jersey drill-inspired production, Radana takes us along for his laid-back ride through life. The visuals are crisp and clean, allowing our protagonist to talk shit in the finest of settings. Randana could make some noise with this one, stay tuned.

Bucky Malone – Tear Da Club Up 23′

Bucky is back and yet again he delivers his DIY videos full of authenticity. The prowess is always rugged, yet interesting because I don’t think that Bucky is aiming to be anyone other than himself. Lowkey this man is a melding of Grunge, Punk, and Rap, but it’s truly because of the attitude he portrays. “Tear Da Club Up 23” is a true showing of this man’s styling, though it’s just a small excerpt in the greater story.

prcy – Act II – Continuance

This one was sent to me by a trusted ear so I had to tap into heat. prcy makes his first appearance on our pages, but this full-length project might have just earned him a second listen. 15 cuts are a bold move but upcoming artists, but prcy shows and prove with every track. A few of the favorites include “INDATMODE” and “Bigger Man 2”. Those two hit the hardest to the personal opinion, but there isn’t a cut that lags behind the rest. Prcy is the name to get hip to, don’t miss the wave.
