A visual has dropped for what is my most favored track off of Blueprint’s newest studio effort Deleted Scenes. Just the second assist to come from the record, the minimalist video matches the lo-fi, downtempo electronic beat that takes its time to build and morph into a deep resounding vibration. The track puts the emphasis on Print’s end rhyme knocking delivery, and the gimmick free approach comes alive in the video. In it he switches between the studio and a local record shop for an in-store performance with fans. Lyrically the Weightless Records chief and Rhymesayers Entertainment rep maintains his signature punch bars like “why the industry keep investing in this laughing stocks, they got cash but ain’t gaining no interest” and “on all the campuses they like you’re my boy Blue, because everything about this habitat is old school.” Check the rest of the new record here, and also peep our exclusive interview with Blueprint that can be found here: Part I | Part II.
