The Stones Throw Records camp dropped a fresh new track and some vital details about Homeboy Sandman’s ongoing shenanigans this Summer.

The best news is that Homeboy will be dropping a full length album in the Fall with the title, producers and track list TBA. The project will be the culmination of the best tracks he has recorded so far this year, so expect current topical bars and features you know will deliver the goods. He is also on an extensive East Coast tour as far North as New York and down South to Atlanta. To keep things interesting, Boy Sand and Peanut Butter Wolf also gifted us with a taste of what’s up next for the Queens emcee.

He has spit on tracks and shared liner notes on projects with Blu previously, but this time he actually gets a guitar-laced instrumental from the man. “Atlantis” breaks down into a bass guitar loop, minimalist hi-hats, and Sandman flexing his literary devices, hiding nostalgic punches and clever call outs in the fold three rapid fire verses. “Waiting up for Sand you won’t get enough sleep, imaginary gangsters from a made up street,” pretty much says it all. Roll up and be ready to hit replay to catch it all.
