As we stated a few days ago, Chris Brown’s album release party ended in a shooting, with one of the biggest names in hip-hop getting hit, Suge Knight.
The VMAs pre-party ended with three people getting shot, while Suge getting shot a total of 6 different times. Suge Knight is still recovering, Chris Brown has released an official statement on Sunday which you can read here.
Now Chris Brown has released a statement on the situation as well, through his representative. The rep told Billboard that Chris had no part in the shooting but plans to fully cooperate with the police’s investigation.

“Chris hosted an event in Los Angeles last night to celebrate the upcoming release of his album X, during which an incident occurred,” the rep said. “This incident did not involve Chris; he was merely the host of the event. He has and will continue to cooperate with the investigation.”
