So I first heard about Layne Harper when I saw him open up for Ab-Soul in Miami, and being impressed with his performance I had to make contact. Today, Layne returns with a new 6-track EP he recorded with Miami Beat Wave titled Beyond Category 2 which is a great introduction to his Hip-Soul style.
