Demrick’s debut album Losing Focus, which was originally set for November 18th, didn’t arrive on that date. The reason for the delay is that the Cali emcee has inked a deal with Madchild’s Battle Axe Records – aka these labels need to make their business plan.
To make up for all the BS, Young De liberates his extremely dope Going Up EP — ten tracks with features from Xzibit, Mann, Bad Lucc, Futuristic and more.
“I promised my fans some new music on Nov. 18th so when I decided to do the album deal for Losing Focus with Battle Axe Records we pushed the record back. I wanted to make sure I still put out something great for the fans to keep my promise. The Going Up EP is really a celebration project for my fans and represents being on the rise.
