I recently came across this group from Boston, MA that go by Notable Alumni. The duo rap, sing, and produce all of their own music. Pretty impressive. But, do they sound good? YES, yes they do. The group consists of members Drew and Julian Nyle who both spit some dope lyrics over their latest release, “Sean Taylor.” The title is in honor of the former Washington Redskins safety, who was murdered several years ago by intruders at his Miami area home. Notable Alumni deliver plenty of notable lyrics like,“Rest in peace to Sean Taylor, they gon’ kill me ‘fore I quit…” With an introspective, chill vibe and a catchy hook, “Sean Taylor” is a definitely worth a listen.
