Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina hip hop duo The Collective Dialect recently released their latest piece of work, a mixtape titled “Drowning In Sound”. The project features sixteen songs including the lead off single/video “Absurdity” and a slew of producers including North Carolina’s 9th Wonder. Here’s what the fellas had to say about the mixtape.
Our intention with Drowning In Sound was to put out a project where no two tracks sound alike. We feel like we have created something here that all music lovers, not just hip-hop fans, can enjoy. We don’t make this music to top the charts or to go platinum. We simply do it to satisfy ourselves, our friends and the fans that have appreciated it all along.
