Okay, so, a couple months back I tweeted this cat named Dave East was going to be NYC’s next big thing. A few months later, “Hot Nigga” was the talk of New York and my obscene gesture was looking more like a brain fart, than anything that resembles some sort of genius appeal.
But just like I said, Dave finally started to catch wave in the industry – announcing that he had finally inked the deal with Mass Appeal Records, a rumor that was swirling around for a minute before the rumor became true. Now, with Shmurda and the boys in jail, Dave East is now finally making me look good (even though in my opinion we should never even gave Bobby the day of light, but hey, that’s just me).
Anyways, Mass Appeal latest signee teams with Scram Jones for his Straight Outta Harlem mixtape – a 20-track collection of dope new records that need to be heard immediately. Stream below.
