The drama continues! Just yesterday, the Young Money general filed a lawsuit claiming the record label owed him $51 million due to a breach of his contract. With that looming over everyone heads, Wayne also stated his intentions to take Drake and Nicki Minaj with him if he leaves the label.
However, it seems things have maybe eased up a bit. In a new statement provided by Lil Wayne’s legal team, the Cash Money rapper says he would stay on Cash Money’s roster if he is paid the $10 million settlement, of which he is owed. According to Weezy’s camp, if the money is paid, he will not file the larger suit –that being $51 million dollars.
