Remember when we all dreamed that we could have a class about weed? Well, it’s 2015 and the future is amazing thanks to Anne Arundel Community College business professor Shad Ewart.
Professor Ewart has introduced a course of study that teaches students how to succeed in the business of marijuana, which is one of the first curriculums ever created in this manner. According to Professor Ewart, with the marijuana industry expanding like it is, it would be considerably unfair to the students who were interested in pursuing this business venture.
Professor Ewart stated:
I almost felt like we were doing a disservice to our students by not having a class like this. It just seemed to be a topic that was ripe.
The class is titled “Entrepreneurial Opportunities in Emerging Markets: Marijuana Legalization,” (LMAO) and classmates who have taken the course have said that course teaches you the ways to build a business within today’s emerging marijuana industry.
The energies inside this class allow all of us to connect ideas. Already it’s opened all of our minds to all of the possibilities in the future with marijuana in general. There are so many opportunities that are going to be there in the future.
In 2014, Maryland became the eighteenth state to decriminalize small amounts of marijuana for adult consumers.
