We all assumed that Bobby Shmurda would be bailed out by his Label imprint, EPIC Records. As well know, that didn’t happen at all. During a conversation with the NY Times, Bobby Shmurda voiced some of his frustrations with the label.
“I’m going to try my best to go back on the deal. If not, I’ll give them their music and bounce.” This is a statement he gave to NY Times.
Shmurda has a bail of $2 Million that has yet to be posted, and it doesn’t look like anyone is going to post it soon. Bobby Shmurda’s lawyer Matthew Middleton has expressed his feelings on the situation by calling out the “disloyalty” of the label; even stating that the label is out there to capitalize on youth and opportunity.
Keep ya head up, Bobby.
