As we sit here and wait on news about Man on the Moon III, Kid Cudi his fans a taste of what we should expect with a new song today called “Love.” It’s an uplifting, vibey, feel-good tune straight from Mescudi’s heart to help us get through what we may be hurting us; it’s very similar to his earlier messages in his past albums so I am so happy to see the man hasn’t left his roots. The chill song is about self-love in the face of sadness over a sample of Ratatat’s “Sunblock.”
Here’s what he wrote on SoundCloud:
“Something I made during the SF sessions. produced by me, keys by Dot. Sample is from one of my favorite Ratatat jams “Sunblocks”. And love to Evan and Mike for allowing me to release it.. For you. Hope it brings you some peace if you have a lonely heart out there. byeeeee”
