Chicago newcomer and personal favorite Kweku Collins has officially signed with Chicago indie label, Closed Sessions, making Kweku their second signed emcee behind Alex Wiley. Congrats to both parties involved!
Anyways, today, we not only get the official announcement of his signing to Closed Sessions, but also another dope record in the form of “Start A Fire,” his first single w/ Closed Sessions.
Side note: Kweku is one of the most genuine people I have ever dealt with. So congrats once again to the homie, everyone here at DC is pulling for ya!

Recently I signed to the label Closed Sessions, becoming the newest addition to a team consisting of Alex Wiley, odd couple, and boathouse. This is a brand new self-produced single serving as my musical welcome to the label.
This is the next step in the realization of a dream for me. I wish I could properly convey my appreciation and gratitude for the kind words, support, and love you’ve shown me and my art. It has been invaluable to me and my mission of creating and spreading this music to the world.
