Although he’s created quite the attention w/ his most recent mixtapes, Chicago emcee GLC hasn’t really been doing much since the release of his last mixtape in 2013. His only claim to fame still remains his guest feature on Kanye West’s first two albums in the early 2000’s.
Even though he left GOOD Music back in 2010, but it appears that he’ll be making an epic return — announcing that he’ll be working with none other than Kanye again and Dame Dash on his forthcoming album.
The album, The Book Of St. Ism, will be co-executive produced by both Yeezus and Dash. Dash even went on record saying: “GLC is the best at what he does. When he played me his music, I knew I wanted to put this album together and I gave Kanye a call and brought him in.”
While talking to Fader, GLC also said, “The ism teaches kids and adults to apply themselves and to supply their wealth all while understanding that the only limitations you’ll ever have are those that you place on yourself.”
No release date has been announced, but we’ll keep you posted.
