As far as features from other artists, those confirmed are Charlie Wilson, Syd Bennett, Kanye West, Pharrell, Schoolboy Q, Kali Uchis, Lil Wayne, Clementine, Toro y Moi & many more. Most of the other artists who contributed added in instrumentation such as: Cole Alexander of the Black Lips, Steve Lacy of The Internet, and others. As far as the songs go, a few Tyler has talked about before, like “Keep Da O’s”, “Run”, & “Pilot” are now confirmed. “Blow My Load” was previewed in the documentary for Wolf that came out last year. And the album title/song “Cherry Bomb”, and “Okaga, CA” were first seen by fans in a photo taken of Tyler a year ago. Cherry Bomb releases April 13th, 2015 digitally. Physicals won’t hit shelves until the 28th, because of there being 5 different covers for the album.
