New Orleans’ native Pell returns to our pages with an animated visual for his Floating While Dreaming hit single, “Runaway.” With production help from LARRY BRRD, “Runaway” illustrates the need for a true family. And in today’s age, that seems farfetched.
Here’s what he had to say about it:
The animated video follows the lyrical theme of growing up in a house divided by telling the story of a broken home, and the toll it can take on the youth involved. “I wanted to create a video that illustrated the most sacred union being broken, and I think we accomplished that,” says Pell, “I’m very inspired by cartoons, and Aaron was able to turn my vision and story into a masterpiece with his animation.”
