With Baltimore’s Freddie Gray situation still going strong, the nation’s news outlets continue pour out their opinionated ignorance to the public, and Killer Mike has had enough of it apparently.
Killer Mike was recently at the White House’s Correspondent Dinner — it was actually the night of the riot — so he didn’t get to see the footage until hours after the eruption. Mike then had this to say:
“I’ve watched Geraldo Rivera and Blitzer pander to the audiences of oppression on TV,” he said in his Billboard article. “They’re players in the game that sensationalizes and objectifies this in the worst ways—I don’t trust they that they want to see the change.”
With his Dad being a cop, Mike went on to detail his respect for police even with all this mess going around: “I don’t have a problem with them. I do have a problem with a culture that uses illegal roadblocks to search Americans.”
Along with Mike’s thoughts, El-P decided to hit Twitter with a few comments in response to the Baltimore PD’s plea of innocence.
