With the emergence of TIDAL, I have been heavily rooting for Spotify like I root for my beloved Buffalo Bills — and yes, I’m a Bills fan, unfortunately. Although JAY Z’s streaming service is barely (as far as market share percentage concerns are) anything compared to the powerhouse Spotify is. Either way, it’s a smart move by Spotify. Why wait till the monster is too big to do anything?
Anyways, Spotify has announced that it will bring video content to their platform, but not like TiDAL exclusive music videos, but w/ actual video — partnering with the likes of VICE, ABC, ESPN, Adult Swim, BBC, Comedy Central, E!, MTV and more.
Along with that, they’re adding podcast capabilities, adding new shows from some of your favorite artists, and much more.
