Chance The Rapper, Donnie Trumpet and the rest of The Social Experiment have been hiding their highly awaited forthcoming album, SURF, for quite some time now. Despite all the rumors due to damaged master files, it has finally been confirmed that the album is complete.
Andrew Barber, the creator of Fake Shore Drive, was recently treated to an exclusive listening of the LP, where he revealed MANY big things from the said project. Firstly, the album is 16 tracks long, and unlike most rumors, Chance The Rapper is more of an executive producer than an actual artist — with Donnie Trumpet being the head honcho of The Social Experiment.
Along with those details, Andrew also revealed that there were many artist on the “varied, yet cohesive summer album.” I don’t know about you, but this made me even more excited for the album. Either way, stay tuned. We’ll keep you posted.
