During their performance at Governors Ball on Saturday, Slim Jimmy of Rae Sremmurd jumped onto a speaker in front of the stage and badly injured his leg as a result. As you all know, the Rae Boyz really know how to turn up — and it finally caught up w/ them.
After the injury, he was immediately taken backstage due to large laceration on his leg. According to Billboard, he poked fun at the situation, encouraging fans to upload the footage on social media saying “If you got that video, put that shit on Instagram.”
After Jimmy was escorted to the hospital, Swae Lee — his brother and the other half of Rae Sremmurd — continued the performance. Like the saying says, “the show must go on.” We wish Jimmy a fast recovery!
