Rapper Rick Ross is facing a misdemeanor for a marijuana charge following his arrest in Georgia, reported by WSB-TV. He currently as of today (6/11/2015) is still being processed in the Fayette County Jail.
Ross had been pulled over for a window tint violation (of course), that’s when the police officer reportedly smelled and later found marijuana in Ricky Rozay’s Bentley. The arrest took place in the Atlanta.
The Rick Ross was arrested in North Carolina a year ago for not showing up at a hearing for another marijuana charge from 2013. He was taken into custody immediately following a performance at the 2014 SuperJam in Greensboro, NC and later released on $1,000 bail.
Ross faced two other drug charges in recent years. In 2011, he was charged with a similar misdemeanor marijuana charge in Louisiana, and in 2008, he was arrested for not only marijuana possession but for carrying a concealed firearm, as well.
From the Maybach Music Group founder’s past, it seems like he should live and stay somewhere where weed is legalized, until the nation comes to terms with the stay of marijuana. If not, guess he’ll keep getting in trouble with the South.
