Yesterday, Twitter’s CEO Dick Costolo, announced that he will be stepping down from his position at the company. Meanwhile, Jack Dorsey, the co-founder and chairman, will take the role of CEO until they get permanent replacement.
Snoop Dogg quickly announced — via Twitter ironically — his desire to be the next Twitter CEO. Dorsey said, when looking for their new CEO, they want someone who “really uses and loves the product in every single way.”
The rapper has already launched his Twitter campaign with the hashtag #SnoopForCEO, which resulted in trendy hashtag titled #IfSnoopWasTwitterCEO — which we all know got out of hand. Check out some of the tweets below.
