Atlanta rapper Young Thug was arrested by U.S. Marshals early this morning in Sandy Springs, Ga. because of an “outstanding warrant charging him with terroristic threats.” The cause of the warrant stemmed from a confrontation Thug had with a Perimeter Mall Security cop on July 7th, 2015 which led to him being escorted out the mall, & ultimately followed by him threatening the cop while a warning was being issued.
The warrant (which you can read in full below) states that “The accused(Young Thug) threatened to shoot the victim in the face with the purpose of terrorizing Mr. Chris May.” U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force spokesman Jim Joyner, says that Young Thug will be taken to the Dekalb County jail for his bond hearing.
