Today, after randomly searching for the recent Kendrick video, I noticed the official YouTube page for Top Dawg Entertainment has been suspended — most likely due to copyright infringement complaints.
Here’s what YouTube said:
“Top Dawg Entertainment has been terminated because we received multiple third-party claims of copyright infringement regarding material the user posted.”
This comes just days after Kendrick Lamar’s suit between he and Italian photographer Giordano Ciprini for their “Blacker the Berry” cover art. Although this is not the reason for the suspension, it may be one of the many reasons that lead up to this decision. For now, the page with nearly over half a million subscribers and 200 videos are now unavailable until further notice. Sad face.
