Javon Johnson is one of the best talents Houston has to offer, and his latest track is another great representation of his lyrical prowess and ever-evolving ability as a pure emcee. Johnson triumphantly leaps back onto the DC pages to premiere his latest track “Vanilla Sky.” I really dig how he tries to change up his flow with this one, which sharpens how his words hit the listener’s ears. It rides a dope beat, provided by frequent collaborator Contour, that fits with Javon’s style mad well and all adds up for another great release.
