rMell has long been one of my favorite underground artists, and I’m very happy to see him finally dropping new music again. He’s preparing the sequel to Freckles, one of his earlier projects, and let loose a new track to spark the campaign. It’s titled “Happy Birthday To Me,” and has a real smooth, personal feel to it. Mell is an intelligent lyricist and great producer, and I think Freckles 2 will be one of the best projects to come out of the DMV area this year.
