Fans of Elzhi who backed his Kickstarter project a few years ago, received emails tagged with #BackersOnly & #LeadPoison on October 8th linking them to a new song from the Detroit rhymer. Within the email, Elzhi relayed that his highly anticipated album “Lead Poison” is in its last stages, and thanked his fans for being patient in regards to the release. “P.S.” is a beautiful song that finds Elzhi rapping in introspect about his past hardships over a haunting soul sample and piano laced beat, asking the question “What you prefer? red pill, or blue pill?” Listen to the track below, and stay tuned for what Elzhi will grace us with next.
