Donavan Day, formerly Hassani Kwess, is one of the DMV’s best kept secrets, though he’s got quite a catalogue and some big-time collabs with Asher Roth under his belt. His menacing energy is unmatched on his newest track/video for “Stranded on Deaf Row,” the latest from the Hostile Youth member. If he continues to drop tunes like this, you have to believe that 2016 might be his big-time, breakout year, and we here at DC will be pulling for him for sure.
