Harlem rapper and DC mainstay A$AP Rocky has returned to the top of the Billboard charts — once again. His recently released sophomore album, At.Long.Last.A$AP, according to Nielsen Music, the new album sold over 146,000 records – which actually tops his previous album which sold 139,000 unit in its first week.
Mr. Rocky now joins Big Sean, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Wale and the Furious 7 soundtrack as the sixth rap project to grace the top of the Billboard 200 this year. I still think we should put rap in a genre because there’s too many styles, but that’s just me. Anyways, congrats to A$AP Rocky and the rest involved in the project. And of course, #LongLiveYAMS
Rest in peace.
