Metro Boomin is up to something.
The buzzing beatmaker has quickly become one of the top and most respected names in the music industry, though has been somewhat quiet in recent months. Well, it looks like he’s got something up his sleeve, as he took to Instagram yesterday to tease some new music—a project, maybe a single—that will in fact be dropping tonight.
As you can see, the parental advisory sticker is a dead giveaway that this is cover art for something, and one could also infer one of the guests that might be on from looking at the picture.
On the top left corner you’ll see a “So Icey Boyz” chain—the one that Gucci Mane gifted to Metro last summer. Now, this could just be an arrangement of different pieces of jewelry he owns—but I’m willing to bet his collection of diamonds boasts more than just what’s pictured, so why include the chain he got from Gucci?
It could be nothing, but it could also mean that we have a collaborative project between two Atlanta legends dropping in a matter of hours. We’ll see soon.
