I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: South Florida is up next.

After finding a few gems on Soundcloud, I noticed two reposts from our good friend MTFR. After finding a few bangers on his Soundcloud previously, I decided to hit play on ArtGodSavii’s newest offering, titled “Genre” — and holy fuck, this tape is great.

Coming in at 13-tracks deep, Miami’s ArtGod grabbed guest features from the likes of Jah, Matt and much more. Here’s what he had to say about the newly release project:

Good Morning, Afternoon, Evening. Whatever time of day it is at the moment i just want you to stop……..look around…..you’re alive right now….and obviously if you’re reading this you are not in jail or really sick, so be grateful. Appreciate it. Because what is life without appreciation.

Now that thats out of the way I present to you a body of work like no other on the market. Genuine..Raw..Precise..Diverse. All of these elements describe my expression, my art, my passion. The goal was to create a brand new sub genre of hip hop with each song on this project. All inspired by hip hop definitely but an altogether brand new genre of music never to be duplicated. Each one of these songs is simply a description of whatever life was throwing at me during that time, Songs were compiled over a 2 year span and eliminated based off what was the cream of the crop so to speak. After realizing i cant drop a 20 song tape i again narrowed it down to what is here today…

So without Further Ado, I present to you, Genre.
