Sakura’s range and tone is brilliant to say the very least. Her newest effort entitled “Chasing Feelings” evokes pure emotion as she reminisces of another time. This new wave of Atlanta artists should bring hope to the fans. People like Kenny Mason, Rob Olu, iivrson and Sakura all have paved their own respective lanes, foreshadowing the greatness to come.
To add to the already impressive vocals, this young woman directed the video and helped craft the production. With some additional help from DvDx on the boards along with camera aid from Sims Crosby and Riona Garcia-Taylor, this finished product is cinematic gold. The vivid shots filled with red and purple cue the passion of each note, taking us to another feeling with every scene. It meshes with the song so well and it’s quite refreshing to see a set of visuals this thought out. Keep it up Sakura, you’re onto something serious.
