Some of you might be aware of Bass Santana‘s impact on the 2014-2018 dominating rap collective “Members Only.” Lead by the late XXXTentacion and Ski Mask The Slump God, Bass Santana found himself in a great position with stand-alone tracks as well as features on some great cuts on their past group releases like “God Damn” and “Curse” featuring XXXTentacion.

After not releasing an official music video in over a year, fans are very glad to have him back. His new video titled “Go Up” finds himself in a red room trying to bridge the gap between what fans already know him for, and what he can continue to do from here. The vocals still feel like what we heard during his earlier work, but the the up to date beat style mixed with the dark vocals is what makes this song hit for me. The combination of the two makes this new song not only feel fresh, but important. The ominous red lighting along with his dark tone is something you do not want to gloss over while watching this.

Seeing Bass Santana still have that same energy within his music after the consistent pain of losing loved ones shows me there will always be a light at the end of the tunnel for everyone. Check out his new video down below:
