Bells and Robes - Duality ft. Swain Cover

Peep the Atlanta-based electronic producer duo Bells and Robes offering up a well crafted harp and snare canvas for emcee Swain to take over with machine gun bars. The typically dance music-driven twosome of Luke Sipka on live keyboards Dean Spaniol on drums/samples doesn’t rely heavily on synthesized textures like their peers, but they obviously know how to use them. Instead, on “Duality” they scale it back to a minimalist approach that calls on snapping drums as the catalyst for Swain’s vocal musings, cleverly framed by analogies and principal philosophical touch points in each line. “Duality” is now the third single offered up from the upcoming project How Could We Have Known, which will also include the equally engaging, yet less hip-hop motivated “Latchkey” featuring Flat Land, and the atmospherically sample-laced title track “How Could We Have Known.”
