There are several hidden gems in the music scene that I have yet to see receive their flowers. Some of my most notable and personal favorites include Kevin Kazi, Meiiny, and many more but an artist that I’ve been beyond impressed with is rari kari, hailing from Nashville. My rotation of music often fluctuates due to either lack of replay value or new discoveries. With that being said, rari kari has found her way to my rotation this last year with songs including “HOME,” “ISSEY,” and most recently “Heart Attack,’ to name a few.

Speaking of rari kari’s most recent release, “Heart Attack,” we’re welcomed with an intense and energetic production thanks to phenomenal producer BritBoyBeats. Kari has been teasing this track on her social media platforms for quite some time and I have been ready for this one. The best way to describe kari’s vocals are angelic, giving the listener a euphoric experience, especially on this track.

It’s safe to say that Rari Kari is on her way to the top, gaining the likes and recognition from artists such as Trippie Redd, Zelly Ocho, and more. I am excited to see what’s in store for her as her fanbase has been growing.

Wolfacejoeyy has been on a memorable run and he shows no signs of slowing down. The Staten Island native has taken over 2024 with his melodic and instantly recognizable sound, creating a new wave in the Sexy Drill genre. Don’t get it twisted, he’s one of the most versatile artists I’ve heard. Joeyy has undoubtedly made his presence known this year, dropping consistently and collaborating with the likes of artists such as Kanii, Cash Cobain, and many others and even opening for 4batz on his THANK U, JADA tour this Summer. Fresh off the press is the music video for Wolfacejoeyy’s single “Finsta,” directed by Annie Bercy.

The perfect video for the perfect song: Taking place in the streets of New York with plentiful and beautiful women, Wolfacejoeyy emphasizes the likes and interests of intimacy with women. Funny enough, it’s interesting hearing the term “finsta” being thrown around, having one myself and being selective with who gets to follow it and so forth. The clean visuals and overhead camera view really give the video depth, mirroring the song and it’s ability to perceive different perspectives.

Witnessing him grow into the artist he is now has been a privilege, developing into an artist that many love and is continuing to grow and break the mainstream barrier. I’m sure we can expect a project from Wolfacejoeyy before the year ends and with the way he has been dropping, possibly more. Check out the music video down below and let us know what you think!

The reefuh Run Continues With “Carbon/Soda”

0

This year has been awfully nice to us in regard to music, treating us to new and great talents, familiarizing us with the likes such as Nettspend, Cash Cobain, and many artists who have taken the music scene by storm. reefuh is an artist/producer that I have seen gain a consistent fan base this year with his unique sound and hard-hitting production behind him. The 17-year-old artist has been making a name for himself, being managed by creative Niztopia and also making a cameo with his song ‘”the prezi,” in the background of a Playboi Carti video.

reefuh has been kind to us, releasing two singles last week titled “Carbon Fiber,” and “Dirty Soda.” Both tracks showcase his versatility as well as his growth throughout this year. Known for his raspy and distorted vocals, “Carbon Fiber,’ is the perfect example of his signature sound, stretching his vocals and proving that he shouldn’t be put in a box. The second song, “Dirty Soda,” a personal favorite of mine, gives me nostalgia as reefuh reveals a more melodic style, reminding me of Lil Uzi Vert.

When it comes to genre-bending artists, this guy’s name should be placed at the top of the list, showing that he can truly do it all whether it’s on a hard-hitting, faster paced rap beat or slower and a more melancholic beat. The South Carolina-native doesn’t show any signs of slowing down, dropping an impressive nine songs as we just pass the first half of 2024. I would definitely suggest you give these a listen as I guarantee you’ll become a fan.
