Last nigth rising Brooklyn emcee – aka the “Hot Nigga” – Ackquille “Bobby Shmurda” Pollard, and several other members of the GS9 gang, were arrested at Quad Recording Studios in New York City due to major drug trafficking, shootings and street violence in Brooklyn. I guess these cats were actually doing what they said.
During the raid, officers seized over twenty handguns, two of which were allegedly found on Shmurda, and four of which were found on Rowdy Rebel. Also, found on Shmurda was a very small amount of crack cocaine, which was found in the car at the time of the arrest. Apparently, according to the South Violence Reduction Task Force and Office of the Special Narcotics unit, this investigation has been going on for over three months now; piling up different evidence for each member of the GS9 crew.
Shmurda and the other GS9 members were indicted earlier today, with Shmurda pleading not guilty to gun and narcotics charges, resulting in a staggering $2 million bail. If found guilty on all charges, the “Hot Nigga” rapper will see minimum 10 years behind bars, and even worst, could serve up to life in jail.

This is Bobby’s third arrest, the last one coming in October for marijuana possession – which as you all know is bullshit!
This all comes after his major deal with Epic Records, and him on the brink of something HUGE. Just last month he released his debut EP Shmurda She Wrote and was expected to release his full-length debut album early next year. Although I do believe in the law, this just sad to see with an artist with so much promise.
