Last December, NYPD detectives ended their two-year investigation against Bobby Shmurda, Rowdy Rebel and the rest of the GS9 skwad for conspiracy, murder, assault, drug and weapons charges. Recently, Shmurda appeared in Manhattan Supreme Court alongside Rowdy Rebel to learn their unfortunate fate regarding the 101-count indictment.
Judge James Burke advised Bobby to take an 8-year plea deal and Rowdy a 7-year deal. Turning down the plea, the Brooklyn rappers are putting their fate in the hands of lawyers to prove their innocence. The GS9 collective will now see their trial pushed back to October 5, 2015, which will be nearly 10 months since their original arrest. Wow.
