Every so often as I sift through my submissions I come upon a gem. Today just so happened to be one of them days. As I look at my submission folder I currently have 396 records that I have not and probably will not be able to listen to. Today I decided to check out the first five submissions and this kid BoBo from Newark, New Jersey kind of reminds me of J. Cole in regards to his cadence and flow. The record I am featuring is his latest, “5 Minutes,” and when I say it has the illest Curtis Mayfield sample I have ever heard in my life. I’ll let you be the judge, stream it below.
